Britain to consider nationwide lockdown due to spike in number of COVID-19 cases

On Tuesday, North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire witnessed a new set of restrictions imposed by Britain due to a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases recorded in a single day. The UK reported that the daily tally doubled to 6,000 because of which Britain is considering another national lockdown.

They need to lockdown the vulnerable, elderly and those with pre existing conditions that the virus is likely to kill. Let the rest of the young and healthy ones, who can survive it, keep the economy going. It's all about mitigation and damage reduction at this point.

I found out the other day (not in the news yet) that both hospitals in my city are clearing out beds, the authority's gave them two weeks to empty out. People are about to go stupid again in the shops.
