Russia unveils new nuclear powered icebreaker, claims the Arctic is theirs

The ’Arktika’ icebreaker from Russia left its port in St. Petersburg and embarked on its journey to the Arctic. The new flagship nuclear-powered icebreaker is said to be the biggest and most powerful in the world. The ship will be stationed at the northern port of Murmansk and is the physical representation of an ambition to increase the presence of Russia in the remote region by Vladimir Putin.
