Pentagon diverted pandemic funding for other uses, report says

The Pentagon got $1 billion for tackling the Covid-19 pandemic, but it diverted most of the money for other uses, like paying for jet engine parts and uniforms, a Washington Post report revealed. The report says Pentagon paid $183 million to Rolls-Royce and ArcelorMittal for shipbuilding, $80 million to a Kansas aircraft business, and $2 million to a company that makes army uniforms.
