India and China agree not to pump more troops to disputed border

India and China said they would refrain from sending more troops to the disputed border in eastern Ladakh. Thousands of troops from both the countries are in a tense stand-off at the de facto border, also known as the line of actual control (LAC), in the Himalayan cold desert. In June, a fatal brawl between the two armies left 20 Indian soldiers and an unspecified number Chinese soldiers dead.

India is a fool if they agree. China did that to countries in SE Asia with the disputed islands. When the opposition let their guard down, China sent in their troops, built bases and claimed the territory anyway.
