Dogs trained to sniff out COVID-19 used by Finland at Helsinki Airport

Covid sniffing dogs have been deployed at the Helsinki Airport by Finland. This method is being used as an alternative testing method and could prove to be cost friendly and also help in quick identification of positive travelers. As part of the government financed program, four dogs of different breeds have been deployed. The dogs have been trained by the Smell Detection Association in Finland.

At some of the people replying that it's not possible, dog can smell cancer, why would this be any different? "can detect colon cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and melanoma by sniffing people's skin, bodily fluids, or breath."
