Gravitational Weather: Earth may be getting a ’mini-moon’ that may be space junk

While mini-moons are common place, this newly discovered mini-moon is abnormal. It’s moving far too slowly for it to be rock ejected from a cosmic body. Therefore, astronomers reason, it’s probably just space junk left over from the early days of the Space Race.

OK isn't that a good thing.... I mean if everything orbits and "cluds" at the lack of a better word... At one place then it should be easier to deal with... Like catch/avoid/...

Small orbiting objects happen with pretty regular frequency. It'd be neat to know what this actually is though.
