Missouri Gov. Parson, opponent of mask mandate, and wife test positive for COVID

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R), age 65, and First Lady Teresa Parson tested positive for COVID, his office announced Wed. He is the second governor to have contracted COVID-19. The first lady was tested after showing minor symptoms. After her test was positive, the Governor was tested. He continues to work ’without interruption’, according to the news release. Parson has opposed a mask mandate.

Not surprised. Trump likes to blame blue states but when you look at the trend lines over the last 6 months, blue states have remained at relatively the same level where as red states are all well above them and have been since April and continuing to spike upwards.
