Wildfire erupts in California’s Napa Valley wine country; 2000 evacuated

Hundreds of homes and a hospital were evacuated Sunday in California’s Napa Valley wine-growing area after wildfires spread across nearly 809 hectares and destroyed at least one winery. The blaze broke out before dawn near Calistoga, with flames reaching within a mile of the Adventist Health St Helena hospital, forcing the authorities to evacuate 55 patients who were at the hospital at the time.
