SEC alleges that former Amazon manager made $1.4 million via insider trading

A former finance manager at Amazon has been charged with insider trading by the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Securities trading based on confidential information was carried out by Laksha Bohra from January 2016 to July 2018 according to the regulatory watchdog. The former finance manager had access to the information as she was a member of the tax department of the e-commerce giant.
