Teen gets thanked in a big way after he paid for a customer’s order

A teen working at McDonald’s, Ohio, stepped in to pay for a meal for Brittany Reed, a mother of three, who drove her kids there, only to realize she had left her purse at home. Describing her experience Reed said Wyatt Jones showed no hesitation in paying for her order after she, distraught, requested he cancel the order. To show her gratitude, Reed started a fundraiser which has raised over $27K.

It seems like public fundraisers for these small acts of kindness or just random charity are increasing a while bunch. This is really nice. I like that Newsvoice has these little blurbs every now and again, it makes the world seem less shit.

I am happy to hear stories like this. At the end of the day we should be kind to one another and when we see someone in need we should do what we can to help.

As of just now, GoFundMe is up to $28,570. Pretty decent! Maybe college money for that guy. Would be cool to see a follow up story. https://www.gofundme.com/f/be-like-wyatt
