WHO to probe sexual abuse by aid workers in DR Congo during Ebola response

The World Health Organization has vowed that it will probe allegations that its workers sexually abused women in DR Congo in return for jobs. The alleged abuse happened during the WHO’s response to the Ebola outbreak between 2018 and 2020. Nonprofit news organization New Humanitarian and Thomson Reuters Foundation released a report in which 30 women alleged exploitation by men working for the WHO.
