Portland mayor and federal authorities spar over deputized officers

US attorney for Oregon, Billy Williams, and US marshal, Russ Berger, turned down the request of the Portland mayor, Ted Wheeler, to end the federal deputation of dozens of police officers as part of the response to ongoing protests. In a joint statement, Williams and Berger said Wheeler ’lacked leadership’ and allowed violence in the city during four months of protests since George Floyd’s death.

I wonder how those who support these so called"peaceful protests" will feel when they come in to their neighborhoods,or maybe beat a child or family member, maybe rob them or their family business and amidst the pandemic they're unable to recover..... I guess Biden will bring... Chinese P.L.A. in to restore law and order... seeing as they are so beyond reproach in how they police their subjects.

Now why on earth would he be calling for this to end? It almost seems like he wants the city to burn. 🤷‍♀️

Bring federal charges against the mayor and political players who are denying citizens the right to walk the streets in peace by letting their criminal conspirators riot.
