Unacceptable to not condemn white supremacists, says Mitch McConnell

Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader said on Wednesday that it was ’unacceptable’ to not condemn white supremacists. Senator McConnell was responding to questions about President Trump’s perceived side-stepping of the issue during his debate with Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Senator McConnell has also called on the President to ’correct’ his statement.

He definitely needed to be clear on the white supremacy thing as well as several other points. Overall the debate format they used seemed to force a short blocks of speech that are only good for sound bites, not for making cogent arguments. IMO this is why some people want a "long format" debate/conversation with someone like Joe Rogan. And for anyone that cares, Scott Adams has a pretty interesting review of the debate here:

Why condemn white supremacists when literally the far left is burning down cities and commuting terrorism on a nationwide scale. I’m being hyperbolic, of course we SHOULD condemn white supremacists but are they really that big of a threat compared to the growing far left unrest?

"Unacceptable" means he will not accept it. I believe he and other prominent Republicans have made similar statements in the past. So, if it is unacceptable, the question is what, if anything, are they willing to do to stop it?

Trumps condemned it so many times, its not about him condemning, its about getting him caught in a gaffe.
