White House stimulus proposal stands to over $1.5trn with $20bn for Airlines

WH chief of staff Mark Meadows confirmed on Wed. that US administration proposed $20bn extension in aid for struggling airline industry in a new stimulus proposal worth over $1.5trn. However Meadows declined to provide details of WH’s proposal. US airlines have been demanding for another $25bn in payroll support to protect jobs for a further six months after current furlough package exhausted.
