Store design set to be changed by Walmart

A new dramatic redesign is set to be rolled out to Walmart supercenters and other store locations. By the end of the fiscal year, close to 200 stores are set to receive the redesign. Another 800 could be added the year after. The use of a smartphone and the Walmart app will be emphasized in the new design in order to make the experience more streamlined and make shopping more efficient.

Im suprised this isn't because the orginal layout was racist or created by the patriarchy or some $hi+ like that.

Perhaps integrating a shopping list in the app that would put the items in order by location in sequence, as a customer progresses throughout the store would make this truly a first rate tech integration.

Not again! Every time I get a store layout memorized they switch it up. Lowe's just did it and now no have to relearn it all again. Shopping shouldn't be a game of Where's Waldo.

How about unlocking the deodorant shelves, I understand the homeless steal deodorant to keep up with personal hygine but still have to press a button and wait for a lard ass clerk to come over and unlock the shelves.
