Experts answer questions on future if Trump were to become too ill
As speculation rises after President Trump’s diagnosis of COVID-19, experts have tried to answer some of the questions raised. Changing the date of the upcoming elections would be up to US lawmakers, and not Trump. It requires a majority in both Houses. If Trump were to become too ill to carry out his duties, the 25th Amendment allows Trump to hand over power to the VP Pence.
