Canada’s TC Energy cancels controversial 1200-mile Keystone XL pipeline

The $9B Keystone XL project, proposed in 2008 to bring oil from Canada’s Western tar sands to US refiners, has been halted by owner TC Energy Corp after US President Biden revoked a key permit needed for a US stretch of the 1,200-mile project. The project’s demise comes as other North American oil pipelines, including Dakota Access, face continued opposition from environmental groups.

What if we've been going about green energy all wrong for cars? Maybe the future does not lie with big batteries but perhaps highly refined vegetable fuel. For instance, take ethanol and study it further and refine it further and one day I can imagine it would he very easy to build a car engine that entirely runs on corn, with maybe only some simple hydrogen being released from the muffler. We shouldn't lock ourselves in to only one specific vein of progress.

Jobs lost. Energy independence destroyed. Massive inflation. Racist rhetoric constantly. Creepy interactions with children. Digitally raping staff. Losing his place in simple sentences. Huge border crisis. Trying to raise taxes to increase inflation even more. This guy HAS to go. The results of this administration just keep getting worse and piling up. The only bright side I can find in this president is that if we can survive his presidency then America can survive anything.🤷🏾‍♂️

We in Canada need to stop sending oil to the US period. Alberta will build refineries here and sell consumer ready oil, gasoline and diesel to other countries who would love to buy, not the US. The US can deal with the Saudis instead. Have fun with that.
