Jonathan Price, 31, was shot and killed by a police officer in the small Texas town of Wolfe City. Mr. Price, described as a city works employee and pillar of the community, reportedly intervened when he saw a man hit a woman at a local gas station. Bystanders believe police mistook Mr. Price for the man who caused the altercation. The officer has been placed on administrative leave.
Without having all the facts I can't rush to judgement in this climate, but it certainly sounds really fooked up, and people wonder why the poor don't trust law enforcement... regardless of color. God rest this man's soul... and comfort his family.🙏🤬
Lately it seems as if the narrative is written before all of the facts come out. Best to wait and see. But one fact is that it is truly sad to see another young life ended. Heartbreaking.
“White” cop, “black” man. These headlines are used to incite unrest and should be illegal. A few days ago a black girl was shot and killed by a black man but no mention of race in headlines. Keep it together BLM and Antifa, the media keeps playing you!
... Prepare for more riots Texas before all the evidence comes out. Fuck sakes.
The US is burning literally and politically, and this happens...
"Office is placed on leave"... any time there is an OIC (office involved shooting) the officer(s) is placed on leave. I'll wait to review the body/dash cam footage sometime next year.
Let's hope he gets more justice than Breanna Taylor's family got
Look at him what do you think?
Here we go again with the shoot first ask questions later thing....it's gotta stop. Vote.
My condolences go out to Jonathan's loved ones, for their loss and for justice to never be given to them.
Wait for the facts. Just hold on.
What kind of training do police officers receive? Their approach seems to be "shoot first, ask questions later".
