A senior NK diplomat who went missing in Italy two years ago is now living in SK, making him one of most high profile bureaucrat to change sides in decades. Jo Gil and his wife disappeared in Nov’18 after leaving NK embassy in Rome where Jo was employed as acting ambassador. For almost two years, his location was not known but this week, SK confirmed reports that Jo had defected to SK in 2019.
