UK economy grew 2.1% in August; still 9.2% below pre-pandemic level

UK’s economy grew 2.1% in August, the slowest monthly gain since the initial lockdowns, and 9.2% below its February level, despite the government’s effort to subsidize those dining out. It also was well below the growth forecast of 4.6%. In June, the economy grew by 8.7%, and in July, by 6.6%. Analysts said the coming months were likely to see growth slackening further because of new restrictions.

Glad to read that the UK's econonomy is improving. I hope that the globe's economy improves. China has caused Trillions and trillions in global economic damage and it looks like they are going to skate free from it.
