Amid economic woes, North Korea celebrates party anniversary

A massive military parade and public rally was organized by North Korea in order to mark 75 years of the country’s ruling party. Observers had expected North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to take centerstage in the festivities, and they had also expected him to unveil latest weapons in his ever expanding nuclear arsenal which poses a threat to U.S. allies and the American mainland.
