In Sept,, British PM Johnson said that if there was a lack of agreement by the time EU leaders meet in Brussels on 15 Oct,, he could not see any hope of a deal at all. However, with the date here, there remain no clarity. Chief negotiator, David Frost, believes a deal is possible in the next few weeks. France’s foreign minister suggested the EU summit on 15 Nov. could be the next target date.
