US retail sales post big gain in September, rise 1.9% beating expectation

US retail sales rose 1.9% in September, which is better than the 0.7% Dow Jones consensus estimates. Consumers spent at a much faster pace than expected, which experts believe is a sign that the US’s biggest driver of economy is fine. A Dow Jones survey of economists expected sales to increase 0.7%, up from 0.6% in August. This is the fifth-consecutive month of growth recorded in the country.

The only reason for this rise in sales is the stimulus money. Every time it dries up sales fall
