Google introduces new tools to help locate nearest voting locations in US

Google said it was launching new features across its search engine, Maps and voice assistant to help US voters find their nearest voting stations. In a blogpost, Google said the details on in-person voting or returning mail-in ballots can be found under searches with ’early voting locations’ or ’ballot drop boxes near me.’ If asked, the voice assistant would give details on nearest polling booth.

Neat feature. Where I am, you have to go to your specific post, how do they regulate voting in USA?

At least in my state, OH...you can't just go to any vote location. Based on your place of residence, Ohio assigns you a voting location. When you arrive your name is on a list. If you try to vote at a different place, you get the 3rd degree. Not sure if they still let you vote but it is to discourage voting more than once and ensure polling locations aren't overwhelmed.

And depending on your search habits they will tell repubs to go to the local dumpster
