Andrew Cuomo: Movie theaters in NY can open beginning Friday

Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York said on Saturday that movie theaters in the state can begin reopening next Friday onwards with restrictions on audience size and other precautions in place. However, the notification does not include theaters in New York City, and counties also need to have a positivity rate below 2% on a 14-day average and have no ’cluster zones.’

Does it matter if they open some or none? At this point there are essentially zero movies to show whether any theaters are open or not. Even some TV series are being canceled since they can't make new shows due to c-19 concerns.
