I used to work at an after-school program and parents would come to pick up their children and I would card them and blah blah blah. One time this nicely dressed woman came to the door and said she needed her son. I did all the usual checks and then I looked her in the eyes and I said "please point to your son." She looked back at me with this face of confusion, because she was black and there was only one black child in my group. She looked lost for half a second that I had not connected the dots and assumed the one black child went with the first black adult to show up. Racism is weird that way. Also rap music is poison, stop lionizing criminals, and be punctual, wow look at that your quality of life has improved.
