Israel and Bahrain establish formal diplomatic relations

Bahrain has become the fourth Arab nation to have formally established diplomatic relations with Israel. The US-brokered agreement was signed in the Bahrain capital, Manama, on Sunday where officials from both nations signed eight bilateral agreements. Bahrain has now joined the UAE, Egypt, and Jordan, among the Arab nations, to recognize Israel since its founding in 1948 and the second this year.
