2,000-year-old cat etching discovered among Nazca Lines in Peru

In a new discovery, a 120-foot-long figure of a cat carved into the Nazca desert in Peru more than 2,000 years ago has been unearthed. The feline, dated to between 200BC and 100BC, emerged during work to improve access to one of the hills. In recent years, between 80 and 100 new figures had emerged in the Nazca and Palpa valleys, all of which predated the Nazca culture (AD200-700).

Even 2000 years ago cats were a meme. "I'm going to draw a giant cat on this mountain."
