Man pulled gun on chief’s daughter over cream cheese

A Florida man pulled a gun on a drive-thru worker because they forgot the cream cheese with his bagel. The employee happened to be the daughter of the police chief Delma Noel-Pratt. ’It was upsetting to me to know that someone would go to that extreme not having cream cheese on his bagel,’ she said. The suspect faces several charges including aggravated assault.

Interesting how everyone seems to have set their focus on the inanimate object here and completely ignored the fact that we have a MUCH bigger problem right now. We have an epidemic of extreme anger that is leading to increased violence of ALL kinds, not just the favorite 4 letter word. Yes, the number of shootings are up but also, the number of mother’s killing their children seem to be up, people driving their vehicles into crowds, cyclists, etc. People are committing more acts of violence or threat of violence in stores, coffee shops, you name it. Every day I read at least 2 new stories like this. Why? Maybe because people have been denied their right to live and work, and in some places even too fresh air and adequate sunlight, for over a year. Maybe because media and politicians have been pounding doom and fear propaganda into their heads 24/7 since March 2020 . Maybe it’s because of all the division that’s been deliberately sewn across this country for the past 21 years and the daily injection of words, ideas and actions that are designed to make people helpless victims rather than captains of their own voyage. No matter the cause, people are focusing on the WRONG THINGS. The guns don’t kill anyone, angry, vengeful, scared, deceived, disenfranchised and victimized people do. You can take all the guns away but the anger isn’t going to go with them, in fact, it’s only going to increase. As people begin to feel even more helpless and more defenseless they will turn to some other means of expressing that anger, dealing with perceived threats and finding their own justice.

*"He claimed that he grabbed it because it was falling out of his pocket and denied threatening the clerk, according to the police report."* And O.J. Simpson was just cleaning his knife when it slipped... 🙄

Does the suspect get to keep his guns? I feel like people like that shouldn't have guns.

I was gonna say something but nothing original comes to mind. Just the same ol' retoric.

To be fair I remember on my first day working at a bagel shop their was a woman who became so enraged that I didn't put enough cream cheese on her bagel that I thought she was going to smash the glass sneeze guard in front of me. Some people just get neurotic over their morning bagels for some reason. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Coupled with a gun problem, America also has an unavoidable rage problem.

And every day, criminals kill innocent people who don't have the means to level the playing field. The government has guns, the military has guns, even criminals have guns, just not law abiding citizens. This article was written soley for the purpose of making the vast majority of responsible gun owners into psychos and dangerous monsters.

For those that scoffed at the link between the pandemic and increased anger and violence…here’s a quote right from your White House Admin . 🤔 “The Administration has repeatedly stressed that the surge in violence is a direct result of the pandemic that preceded the Biden Administration. “There’s been actually a rise in crime over the last five years, but really the last 18 months,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Monday”. https///time.co//607494//joe-biden-gun-violence-pla//?utm_source=faceboo&&utm_medium=news_ta&&utm_content=curated But… you’re right… that’s just ridiculous.

Perfect example of why not everyone should be allowed to have a firearm. Too many not smart people.
