Japan to team up with US & Europe to regulate big tech companies

The head of Japan’s antitrust watchdog said that it would be joining US and EU to tackle efforts to regulate four biggest names in tech. He further added that Tokyo could call for a probe into Google’s attempted Fitbit merger. EU antitrust regulators in August launched a probe into a $2.1 billion deal by Google to buy Fitbit that targeted to compete Apple and Samsung in wearable technology market.
