A huge 7.5 magnitude earthquake hits off Alaska coast forcing people evacuation

A huge 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit coast of Alaska on Mon, causing a tsunami warning and sending people to reach for higher ground. The epicenter of quake was near Sand Point, a city of ~ 900 people off Alaska Peninsula where waves surged up to 2 feet, said National Tsunami Warning Center. The National Weather Service urged people to stay away from waters until they get a green signal to return.
