Zion hiker’s story ’does not add up’: Utah sheriff’s sergeant

38 year old Holly Courtier, who was found 12 days after she went missing in Zion, had alleged that she had hit a tree, collapsed and remained where she was. Her family also raised $12,000 on GoFundMe for her medical care. However, Sgt. Darrell Cashin, the Utah sheriff’s sergeant said that her story does not add up, and said that she had no head injury, like her family described.

Either this was an attempt at a GoFundMe scam, or the lady is a fruitcake. She was found next to the Virgin River, which is apparently chock full of cyanobacteria, so she wasn't drinking *that*.

Something smelled really bad about her story to me when this broke days ago. Keep digging.
