Judge blocks Pennsylvania coronavirus restrictions on restaurants and gatherings

A federal judge in Pittsburgh said PA Gov. Tom Wolf and State Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine had good intentions to protect people from the coronavirus but their orders went too far. The judge ruled in a court order that Wolf’s closing of ’non-life-sustaining’ businesses and restrictions on gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic violated the 14th and 1st amendments of the U.S. constitution.

Well, there it is. To everyone who wanted to argue these emergency powers were being weilded within the limits of the constitution, it seems to courts disagree with that to some extent. To those who wanted to argue that these emergency powers were being weilded in a capacity beyond the limits of the constitution, it seems to courts agree with that to some extent. I didn't need the court to tell me that in some cases, but I am glad certain states still have a functioning judicial branch.

How did this judge slip through the cracks and get appointed ? Someone made a mistake and hired a judge that has read the Constitution and not just made scribble marks on the parts he doesn’t agree with. Well done, your honor.
