Court orders USPS to restore high-speed machines for election mail

A federal judge ordered the United States Postal Service to restore high-speed mail-sorting machines at all facilities that are unable to process first-class election mails fast enough. This is a win for those states who sued USPS and President Donald Trump to halt a series of operational changes that would have choked services in the expected surge in mail-in ballots during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sickening that it was politicized in the first place to try and suppress votes.

This judge has zero power. Trump holds the purse strings of the USPS. He won't increase their budget for this purpose. He is in charge of the Executive branch. If the Dems want to finance it then create some legislation, but good luck getting this rediculous spending bill through the senate, especially at a time when they refuse to push through a relief bill to help the American people.

When I read the headline I imagined faster mail trucks with turbos, not boring old sorting machines.
