Study says COVID-19 mutation could be more contagious

According to a recent study, one particular strain of the COVID-19 disease could have been more contagious as the virus underwent mutations. A strain of the virus has accounted for 99.9 percent of all the cases that have occurred in Houston, Texas during the second wave of the pandemic. The strain has been named as the D614G mutation and is being suggested to have higher loads of the virus.
