Toyota leads, by far, in donations to election objectors

A new report shows that Toyota has donated $55k to 37 GOP objectors this year. The next largest only gave $28k to 8 objectors in comparison. Toyota states ’We do not believe it is appropriate to judge members of Congress solely based on their votes on the electoral certification.’

Okay and. Toyota can donate to who they please. What about all the companies that gave money to Democrats who said that Trump worked with Russia to win in 2016.

Axios and Newsweek are testing out the “cancel culture” waters now. You two think you’re big enough to give a good arm-twist to a company like Toyota? This should be good.🍿🍺

Wait, you actually thought this'd generate any outrage? You ain't on Twatter, pal. Good on Toyota to have some cojones and donate evenhandedly (I'm sure they also donated to "Democrats". They're a huge multinational corporation, after all).

It’s incredible how Outlaw and the biased media had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for this. 55k seriously?! At the same time, they’ll totally ignore that Biden got over 100M of 4-5x more than Trump in dark money donations and is overwhelmingly was supported by Wall Street (aka whom leftists claim them despise)

Although I'd rather no companies, foreign or domestic, be able to "donate to" (= buy) politicians, I like the response given. I'd rather buy Japanese than American in many cases. Japanese animation is much better than American animation and lacks the agendas. Their video games as well. I also have a (Korean) Hyundai made in Alabama while GM makes lots of cars in Mexico. Honestly speaking, many American corporations hate Americans the most.

Now let's see who donated what to the politicians claiming trump's 2016 victory was illegitimate.

Toyota makes better cars than American design cars anyway. Maybe they can design a better election system. Lol

These folks act like they didn't have members oblect to certifying Trump in 2016 and Bush in 2000 and 2004. Democrats are so laughable it's scary.

It's absurd that any non-voting entity is allowed to donate to anyone holding or running for elected office - demonrat, repulsican't, or other. It's going to be a long while before this problem is remedied.

A good reason to buy American.

Actually toyota....that is EXACTLY what you judge them on. That's like saying "who cares what people only what they say".
