Facebook begins Redirect Initiative to combat violent extremism

Some Facebook users in the United States are being served a message that asks if they are worried that someone they know might be becoming an extremist. Others are being notified that they may have been exposed to extremist content. It is all part of a test the social media company is running that stems from its Redirect Initiative, which aims to combat violent extremism.

FB and Twiter are some of the biggest threats to our liberty and Constitutional freedoms we face today. Their Orwellian thought police in partnership with leftist -fascist polirical and gov elemenrs - threaten the very fiber of our Republic. They should be liable and open to civil law suits as one way to reign in their arrogant, partisan and destructive actions.

This feels like a wonderful opportunity to start reporting leftist extremists for their racism and marxism because you know that isn't what big brother intended.

So can we in turn report Facebook for being an extremist? Asking the big questions today.

I assume their meaning Muslim extremist … you know the ones who go arounf blowing themselves up. Or perhaps a blm or antifa extremeist…you know the ones who vandalize peoples homes and business, burn them down, and call for violence against other people. Those extremists?

I think not using Facebook would be the best scenario here. Not just for it's assinine policy but for it's assinine content put up by Facebook users. It's a waste of time. I thought it would be cool to get in touch with old friends but instead it's a bombardment of irrelevant personal shyte from people no one cares to listen to.

Does FB offer a warning when people think FB themselves are becoming (or actively supporting, at least) extremists? If not, they need to sit down and shut up.

Wow the left sounds more and more like 1940's Germany. Blm and antifa equal the brown shirts. Scubbing you tube, Google, and Facebook of post and videos equals book burning. Switching on your neighbors. Wanting to confiscate your guns. Stopping free speech. Replacing our flag and anthem. Spooky huh

Bryan_with_a_why 3 weeks

The appropriate response is to report all the extremists on the left. Anyone who suggests trillions spent on lockdowns, climate change, welfare, illegal immigration, increases in taxes or govt spending... Just report, report, report, report until FB is inundated with the reality of their stupidity

You don't want to become an extremist? GTFO outta Facebook. Or for that matter, any social media site, any school or college, any company that hires more than 12 people, and any major city. It won't be _if_ you'd be radicalized, but _which side_ you'll end up on.

We can easily take that power back by simply not using the apps or deleting them if you have them. Life is so much better without social media anyway.
