France has urged Middle Eastern countries to end calls for a boycott of its goods in protest at President Macron’s defense of the right to show caricatures of Prophet Muhammad. France called the calls for a boycott ’baseless’, stressing that these were being ’pushed by a radical minority’. French products have been removed from some shops in Kuwait, Jordan and Qatar.
What an empty threat--as if France NEEDS the business of Qatar's (or anyone else's, for that matter) radical Muslim population. France should be proud to be boycotted by such people, quite honestly.
