Exxon announced that they will cut nearly 2000 additional jobs in the U.S. due to the hit to oil demand from COVID-19. Chevron, which has about 44,000 employees worldwide, is working to reduce its headcount by 10% to 15%. ExxonMobil will reduce the U.S. staff by 1,900. The reductions will include both voluntary and involuntary programs.
