Thousands gather across the world to protest against Poland’s new abortion law

After a court ruling further restricted Poland’s abortion laws, thousands of protesters in various cities from across the globe have gathered over the past days in support of Poles who have taken to the streets in protest against the court ruling. Protesters have gathered outside the Polish embassy in cities like Oslo, London, Chicago, Glasgow, Brussels and elsewhere.

“After the ruling goes into effect, abortion will be banned in the case of fetal abnormalities. It will be legal only in the case of rape, incest or a threat to the woman’s health.”... Isn’t that the three things that abortion laws were suppose to protect in the first place? All I ever hear in this argument from feminists is; “well what about rape, incest and the mothers health.” There it is!!! You just don’t get to use abortion as retro-active birth control anymore. Make him go buy some condoms! Take some responsibility.

What is protesting in London supposed to accomplish other than annoy people who live in London and have nothing to do with Poland or their laws? Leave Poland to the Polish, stop sticking your nose in their business. I'm betting every single protester have never even been to Poland and they all have a useless degree and tens of thousands in Student Debt.

Don't you dare even think about apologizing to this outrage mob Poland. People around the world are proud of you for taking the lead in the fight against abortion. It is to the 21st century what slavery was to the 19th, a mistake that is in desperate need of correction.

poland already has some of the most restrictive abortion laws in europe, and this recent ruling breaches a consensus reached in 1997 by all political sides. furthermore, less than 10% of poles support tighter abortion laws, according to polls. the ruling party is ignoring the public opinion and pushed this legislation to appeal to their most conservative base for political gains, and this is not ok. what's even more appalling is that they pushed this law outside the standard legislative process (they tried pushing a bill in the parliament last year, were met with massive protests, and backed down), through the supreme court which had been illegally packed with their ideological allies the moment they seized power in 2015. the supreme court should not be used as the government's puppet to push controversial legislation and shield the government from political responsibility (these very words were said by 1 of 2 supreme court judges who voted against this). and they purposely did this during the pandemic to be able to restrict the people's right to protest. already people are being detained and fined for participating. poland is becoming more and more authoritarian, people are getting pissed off and this is why they are protesting right now.

Since when is murder a right? Oh snap thanks to "Scientist" playing GOD and changing the definition that was standing for thousands of years... but hey a baby tree is still a tree... even though it's not fully developed.. climate change is obviously more important and financially profitable than paying for the poor People's children, and the inconveniences on the well to do.
