French Black Friday ad campaign dropped by Amazon as lockdown starts

After the French Government said that Amazon’s pre-Black Friday discounts in France were unfair to small shops at a time when a coronavirus lockdown has forced them to close, the company announced that it would withdraw related advertisement. Agnes Pannier-Runchaer, the Junior Economy Minister said she had asked Amazon to suspend the campaign.
