Forecast to become a hurricane, Tropical Storm Eta forms in the Atlantic

The National Hurricane Center reported that a new Tropical Storm, Eta had formed in the Atlantic Ocean, and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane by Monday. Eta has also tied the record for most named storms ‒ 28 ‒ in a single Atlantic hurricane season. The storm is currently located about 225 miles south of Kingston, Jamaica, and is packing wind speeds of up to 40 mph.
