A 70 year old man in western Turkey was extricated from a collapsed building by workers nearly 34 hours after a powerful earthquake in the Aegean Sea struck Turkey and Greece, killing at least 60 people and injuring more than 900. Ahmet Citim, 70, was pulled from the rubble and the Turkish Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca, tweeted and said that Citim told authorities ’I never lost hope.’
