Tens of thousands across the Muslim world join anti-France protests
Anti-France protests were joined by thousands of Muslims in Pakistan, Lebanon and Palestine. The protests started against French President Emmanuel Macron after he vowed to protect the right to caricature the Prophet Muhammad. 2,000 people in Islamabad tried to march towards the French Embassy and eventually the protest turned violent as they were pushed back by the police who fired teargas.
I'm surprised Maccron of all people did this, what with the draconian lockdown he is doing. Glad he did though.
