New Zealand PM unveils ’incredibly diverse’ cabinet
New Zealand PM Ardern has unveiled what she called an ’incredibly diverse’ Cabinet. Announcing the cabinet, Ardern said her second-term priorities were responding to COVID-19 and promoting economic recovery. In some firsts, Ardern appointed Grant Robertson as deputy PM, making him the country’s first openly gay person to hold the role. The new foreign minister has a Maori facial tattoo.
