Pittsburgh Post-Gazette backs Trump in first GOP endorsement since 1972
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has endorsed President Trump for reelection, the paper’s first endorsement of a Republican since 1972. The board praised Trump’s handling of the economy, adding that, ’unemployment for Black Americans is lower than it has ever been.’ It remained critical though of Trump’s response to COVID-19. The board called Joe Biden ’too old for the job and fragile.’
