Slovakia carries out Covid mass testing of 3.625mn population; 1% found infected

Two-thirds of Slovakia’s population of 5.4mn people was tested for Covid-19 over weekend targeted at making it one of the first countries to carry out test for its entire population. Antigen tests were carried out on 3.625mn people of which 1.06% were found positive. PM, Matovič, said that one should not consider 1% as a low fig. as it could actually be 2% of citizens might be infected.
