Taiwan records 200 days without domestic COVID-19 infection

Even as the novel coronavirus wrecks havoc in other parts of the world, Taiwan marked 200 days without any domestically transmitted cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The island’s continued success in keeping the virus at bay was lauded by public officials, who thanked the public for playing a role, while urging people to continue to wear masks and to wash their hands often.
