Poland defers implementation of stringent abortion ruling amid protests
Poland’s govt is deferring the publication and implementation of a high court ruling that tightens the abortion law which has set off two weeks of massive nationwide protests. Michal Dworczyk, the head of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s office confirmed on Tuesday that the political leaders are taking time to contemplate the contested ruling and find the best solution.
This goes to show you, violent leftwing protests trump laws, legislatures, & representative government.
