NASA sends commands to Voyager 2 for first time since March

NASA made contact with Voyager 2, the second man-made craft to reach interstellar space, using a 70 meter wide radio antenna late last month. The radio antenna, which had been offline for repairs and upgrades since March, was used to send a command to the craft and receive confirmation that the command was received.
